Artist Statement

“Blue Moon” fluid acrylic on watercolor paper

“My paintings allow me to express what  I cannot say with words.  An expression of a moment in time which spoke to me. It allows me to connect on an emotional level with the viewer.  Whether it’s a painting of a cat bathing itself in a mixing bowl, the pliers my father used or the passion with which a man sings the blues.  Art touches the soul and tells us who we are.”
